ManySecured WG Online Meeting
March 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Our monthly meetings are open to all. The IoTSF ManySecured WG is about leveraging the power of the crowd – working on open technical standards, specifications and finding solutions first and foremost.
It is supporting the UKRI Digital Security by Design Challenge and the Secure Networking by Design project with the University of Oxford, NquiringMinds and TechWorks.
Our aim: “to reduce the threat and scale of remotely initiated cyber-attacks, securing the network against memory-based vulnerabilities.”
This method focuses primarily on router security for a number of reasons: End point devices can only be attacked remotely through the network gateway, but a vulnerability in a router can have a magnifying effect as it connects to many devices and can be used as a launchpad to impact other devices on the network.
The SNbD project is developing the ManySecured® controller to defend against such attacks. We now have monthly meetings and a slack channel where you can engage directly with us to contribute to new work, for example on an open wrt SBOM tool and the NIST NCCoE Trusted IoT onboarding programme.
Topics include: New members: introductions and items for future discussions. Progress updates: VICLab/D3DB, SUIB; Assurance signing; CHERI use cases – value proposition; NIST: lifecycle policy flows and events.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Please contact James Willison for registration details at [email protected]
We encourage you to join our slack channel to participate in the project,
